About Rhiannon Image.

How I went from an overworked (and underpaid) and unhappy (and unfulfilled) digital freelancer to helping other women around the world launch their businesses, grow their brands to multi 6-figure empires and scale the shiz out of both.

These days, I have the ability to work from anywhere in the world with the most amazing clients imaginable and I call Singapore home. But this wasn’t always my story. My story started with a shy, small-town Tennessee girl.

She was desperate for approval.

Completely terrified, feeling like she’d never be good enough.

But she secretly dreamed of freedom and making her mark on the world.

This was my story for nearly 24 years, but then something shifted.

I realized there was more to life and I couldn’t change the world by being afraid. So in 2014, I decided to give the crazy world of entrepreneurship a go and haven’t looked back since.

The first few years were hard.

I craved, more than anything, to be able to travel while making a living doing something I loved and something that could make a difference. But no one understood; everyone thought I was crazy. Especially since I had a shiny degree that qualified me for a safe and solid career path up the corporate ladder.

But I didn’t want to be stuck in a soul-sucking job working for someone else’s dream.

I wanted freedom.

And if you’re here, you probably want freedom too.

Here's the thing: if you’re not working towards building your own dream, someone else will hire you to help build theirs. That’s a fact.

Here's the thing: if you’re not working towards building your own dream, someone else will hire you to help build theirs. That’s a fact.

So here you are. You’re trying to gain traction with your business and this dream of yours.

You’re busting your tail and you’ve done all. the. things.

Maybe you’ve:

enrolled in course after course

joined program after program

got on every social media platform imaginable

tried marketing with ads or blog posts

signed up to work with a mentor or coach

But things just aren’t really moving forward.

I know exactly how you feel.

I did all of that too, and seemed to gain no traction. I invested in my business. I invested in myself. I went on business retreats. I went on personal retreats. I hired a coach. I did all the things.

But my business wasn’t progressing, either. You hear of some entrepreneurs who cleared six figures in their first year? Yeah, I definitely wasn’t one of them.

I was working towards my dream but I was exhausted. Anytime I gained traction, something pulled me back again.

Imposter syndrome

Perfectionism

Self-doubt

Shiny object syndrome

I racked up tens of thousands of dollars in debt. I had nothing to show for it except many sleepless nights, stress, a whole lot of tears and those closest to me continually asking when I would get a real job.

Nevertheless, I persisted.

I was determined to make my business successful.

I still traveled.

I still worked.

I traveled while I worked.

In April 2017, I had the opportunity to hike up to Everest Base Camp. But I didn’t have any boundaries and I was desperate for income. I was working with clients who didn’t understand time off and I wasn’t able to step away. This meant I was working until 1 or 2 AM after trekking for up to ten hours. My mind, body and spirit were depleted.

This was not the freedom that I had in mind.

Something had to change.

Something had to change.

For me, Everest was the kicker.

It was time to embrace being scared and move forward in spite of it.

This meant saying no to clients who weren’t a good fit, getting clear on the best ways to help those who were and only working on projects that made me happy. And with it came that freedom I had been chasing for so long.

I discovered that freedom comes in many forms. It means freedom to travel and live life on my terms, but it also means having the opportunity to work with amazing people. I found that working in a business I love with business owners who lit me up, from anywhere in the world, did not clash with the goal of helping other entrepreneurs build their dream business too. Instead, it complemented it.

From years of trial and error, I had learned strategies to help my clients grow their businesses, the essentials of building a solid brand and the systems to implement and automate in order to do it at scale. I knew what to do in order to build a thriving business and help others do the same, but I was still scared of really putting myself out there. But here’s the funny thing… that fear? It never really goes away, but it’s pushing past the fear and doing it anyway that will keep your business progressing and take your brand to the next level.

It never really goes away, but it’s pushing past the fear and doing it anyway that will keep your business progressing and take your brand to the next level.

Once I realized this, I got serious and started:

focusing my time on things that would actually move my business forward and strategies that my clients could implement to move theirs forward, too

creating courses and teaching programs based entirely on what entrepreneurs launching and growing their businesses needed help with in order to implement, take action and stop being stuck

working solely with clients and on projects that genuinely made me happy, which translated into amazing collaboration opportunities and confident clients who could put their best foot forward with a professional brand

focusing on community, building relationships and providing the best value possible

And I stopped letting my fear win.

Perfectionism and procrastination are not profitable. Plus, they don’t do anyone any good – neither you nor your clients. Indecision and fear are ultimately decisions, and they aren’t ones that will move you forward.

Once I got clear on these key things, my business grew exponentially. This meant that my impact and my reach increased, too. I became laser-focused and learned how to do this at scale. And I have had the honour and privilege of helping other female entrepreneurs around the globe to do the same.

How?

Small steps, focus and continually moving forward.

Ditching the self-doubt.

Being afraid and doing it anyway.

Always aiming to provide value.

Being surrounded with a community that lifts you up versus people who bring you down.

Why does this matter?

In short, because this isn’t just my story. This can be your story, too. You can have it all, if you want it. You’re already working hard. You’re already passionate. But you want (and are ready for!) more.

You want to have adventures and freedom and work with people who light you up. All while increasing your income, expanding your impact and creating the life you dream of.

And it is possible. It is within reach. You’re ready for this.

Sometimes you just need a hand and someone to help you along the way.

You need:

a solid strategy

a consistent brand

help with the next steps to take to grow your business

the strength to push through your own fears, doubts and the people who tell you that you can’t

and the courage to go after your dreams in spite of all of that.

It’s okay if you’re afraid. It’s okay if you don’t know what step to take next. That’s why I’m here.

You’re in the right place.

But you have to take the next step.

What’s with Flame and Arrow?

There is an anonymous quote that says “An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.” This resonated personally, professionally and also for the women I work with.

There are several definitions of “flame” as both nouns and verbs. These definitions range from “the state or condition of blazing combustion,” “intense ardor, zeal or passion,” “glow like a flame; shine brilliantly; flash,” and “blaze.” Throughout my life and in every aspect of my business, I want to always shine brilliantly, be passionate, and be on fire for what I do and who I do it for.

At the heart of it all, Flame and Arrow is about freedom, empowerment and community.

The freedom to live your best life, completely on your terms.

Empowering women – locally and globally – with the tools and resources to move forward in their business and also live their best life.

Community over competition, no matter what, and surrounding yourself with an amazing tribe that uplifts and inspires you.
